There has been a longstanding practise of obtaining cattle in South Africa and exporting same to countries like Mauritius, China and many others around the globe. Saudi Arabia has entered the export market of South African Cattle in 2023 and is expected to take atvantage of the favourable export conditions. Up till now, there was no formal structure and procedure to attend to the exporting of livestock, specific cattle from South Africa, which left the importers at the mercy of some questionable individuals, often resulting in huge monitory losses.

SA Cattle Exports (Pty) Ltd in partnership with Gerhard Barnard Inc. Attorneys, is the first and only cattle exporter in South Africa to have structures to protect livestock importers from cash losses resulting from theft, fraud and improper allocation of funds.

Lucinda Pretorius, the director and CEO of SA Cattle Exports (Pty) Ltd, is familiar with, and experienced in, the exporting process and all aspects involved.

Secure Funds & Payments

We want to establish a longstanding business relationship with you, our cattle importer. We therefore aim to assure that your funds do not land in the wrong person/entity’s hands, as so often happens. The agreed funds of the Importer are paid into the trust account of GERHARD BARNARD INC. who will oversee the legal, contractual and financial side of the exporting process. All payments are thereafter done under strict written instructions of the Importer, as per agreement.
